How to play N-gon
N-gon drops you into a series of rooms and asks one thing: survive and get stronger. You move, aim, and shoot, and between fights you pick new guns and mods that change how your build plays. Here are the default controls.
| Action | Keys / Mouse |
|---|
| Move left / right | A / D or Left / Right Arrow |
|---|
| Jump | W or Up Arrow |
|---|
| Crouch | S or Down Arrow |
|---|
| Aim | Move the mouse |
|---|
| Fire weapon | Left mouse button or F |
|---|
| Use field / grab | Right mouse button or Space |
|---|
| Cycle guns | Q / E or Mouse wheel |
|---|
| Pause | P |
|---|
Tip: your right-click “field” is as important as your gun. You can catch and throw enemy bullets, pick up crates and blocks to use as shields, and fling physics objects at foes. Learning to fight with the environment is what turns a short run into a long one.

What is N-gon?
N-gon is a physics-based rogue-lite shooter built by Ross Landgreen and released as open source. Unlike most browser shooters, every block, crate, and enemy in a level is a real physics body. You can shove them, stack them, throw them, and turn the room itself into a weapon. That physics core is what gives N-gon its distinct feel — chaotic, reactive, and different every time.
The rogue-lite structure means each run is a fresh start. You begin with a basic gun and, as you clear rooms, you choose from a growing pool of over 100 weapons and mods. Mods stack and combine in unexpected ways: a bullet-bending field, drones that fight for you, guns that ricochet or split, time-slowing power-ups, and dozens more. A run where you lean into one strategy plays nothing like a run built around another, which is exactly why the game rewards experimenting.
Because it runs entirely in the browser with no download, N-gon is easy to jump into for a short run whenever browser games are permitted. That simple launch hides a genuinely deep game: easy to start, hard to master, and satisfying to get good at.
More unblocked games
If you enjoy N-gon, we run two more free, no-download game pages built the same way — each one embeds an open-source browser game with full credit to its creator:
- HexGL Unblocked — a futuristic anti-gravity racer rendered in real-time 3D with WebGL. Think Wipeout in a browser tab.
- Clumsy Bird Unblocked — a one-button flappy-style arcade game. Tap to flap, dodge the pipes, and chase a new high score.
